Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia is one of the few companies that offers multi-camera video production. Several cameras of the same type are used. Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. The video editing is done using professional software on high-performance computers. In the video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc., several cameras are of course used. If the many different areas of the stage presentation are to be recorded on video from different perspectives, we can do this using the multi-camera method. Remote controlled cameras are used. The cameras are controlled from a central point with regard to zoom, sharpness and alignment. In this way, 5 or more cameras can be controlled by just one person. An entire event can be fully recorded by just one person.

The topics were as varied as the places reported on. These included current information and news, social events, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball and much more. Depending on the assignment, several cameras are also used for interviews, discussion events and roundtables. If the questioner should not be visible in interviews with only one person, two cameras would be sufficient. If an interview or conversation with several people is to be recorded on video, the use of more than 2 cameras is essential. Remotely controllable cameras would be used if it is an event with an audience. There is no need for a motor pan tilt when it comes to discussions without an audience.

The video recording of events, concerts, interviews, etc. is of course only half the battle. The second and at least as important part of a video production is the video editing. During the video editing, the soundtracks and audio tracks are viewed, adjusted and mixed at the same time. During editing, the video is completed with logos, blurbs and, if necessary, other video, image and text material. You can also submit existing image, text, video and audio material. If, for example, the audio tracks of a concert recording are to be mastered, we can do this or you can supply it as a file.
