In the video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc., several cameras are of course used. Hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards don't last forever. The advantage of Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs is that they do not contain any electronic components. Blu-ray Discs, DVDs, and CDs are great for selling, gifting, and archiving music, videos, or files.
