Multi-camera video production is a main focus of Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia. For such productions we use cameras of the same type. Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. The video material is edited on high-performance computers using professional software. The video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. If the many areas of the stage performance are to be recorded on video from different perspectives, we use the multi-camera method to do this. Remote-controlled cameras are used. From a central point, a cameraman has everything in view and can align the cameras in a variety of ways. It only takes one person to control all the cameras. Additional cameramen are not required.

If rounds of talks without an audience are to be video-recorded, the motor pan-tilt may not be necessary. This reduces the technical effort.

Of course, recording events, concerts, theater performances, talks, etc. on video is only half the battle. A video production cannot be completed without video editing. The soundtracks or audio tracks have to be adjusted and mixed while the video material is being edited. The integration of additional text and image material as well as the integration of logos and blurbs also takes place during the video editing. When it comes to archiving audio, video and data, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs offer clear advantages. Memory cards, hard drives and USB sticks are not designed to last forever. Electronic components are the common cause of data loss from hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not have these. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are ideal for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos.
