A main field of activity of Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia is multi-camera video recording and video production. We use cameras of the same type. Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. The video material is edited on high-performance computers using professional software. The video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. Using the multi-camera method, we realize the video recording of the stage performance from many different perspectives. We rely on modern cameras that are remote-controlled. The very varied alignment of the cameras takes place from a central point. 5 and more cameras can be operated by a single person. Additional cameramen are not necessary.

Depending on what the client wants and how the situation is on site, several cameras are also used for interviews, rounds of talks, discussion events, etc. If the questioner is not to be shown in the picture in interviews with only one person, two cameras are sometimes completely sufficient. In any case, more than two cameras are required when it comes to video recording of interviews and conversations with several people. The extent to which remote-controlled cameras must be used depends on whether the event is attended by an audience. If interviews, conversations or discussion rounds are recorded without an audience, there is no need for a motor pan tilt.

Of course, just recording concerts, events, interviews and discussions etc. is not enough. A video production cannot be completed without video editing. The soundtracks or audio tracks have to be adjusted and mixed while the video material is being edited. Additional text, image and video material as well as blurbs are also designed and integrated during the video editing. When it comes to archiving audio, video and data, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs offer clear advantages. Hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards don't last forever. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not contain any electronic components that could become a weak point and cause data loss. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs for music and video are therefore the first choice as a souvenir, as a gift or for sale.
