Bastian Harper - music video: Love to...

This work was produced many, many winters ago. A music video by artist Bastian Harper (The Submission) titled Love to dance. There was one basic idea: dancing. This was filmed and implemented flexibly with a lot of spontaneity in a nightclub. At that time 4K/UHD was not yet available.

Little financial means, but big claims?

Most of the time you have to decide between these options. Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia is the exception to the rule. The cameras we use are modern, latest-generation models with large 1-inch image sensors. Excellent image quality is achieved in difficult lighting conditions. Cameras can be controlled remotely by using programmable motor pan-tilts, which reduces manpower and saves costs.

Synchronous recording with multiple cameras (multi-camera video production)

Multi-camera video production is a main focus of Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia. We rely on high-quality cameras of the same type. Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. The video editing is done using professional software on high-performance computers. Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p as well.

Video production of theater performances, concerts, readings and more

In the video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc., several cameras are of course used. The multi-camera video recording makes it possible to record the different areas of the performance from different perspectives. Remote controlled cameras are used. The very varied alignment of the cameras takes place from a central point. 5 and more cameras can be operated by a single person. Additional cameramen are not necessary.

TV and video reports for radio and internet streaming

A wealth of experience has grown from many years as a video journalist. Hundreds of video reports and TV contributions have been made over the years. Both the topics and the locations were very diverse. These included current information and news, social events, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball and much more. Due to our extensive experience, we can produce TV reports and video reports for you on almost any topic.

Video production of interviews, round tables, discussion events, etc.

Depending on what the client wants and how the situation is on site, several cameras are also used for interviews, rounds of talks, discussion events, etc. If the questioner should not be visible in interviews with only one person, two cameras would be sufficient. However, if it is an interview or conversation situation with several people, we naturally rely on the multi-camera method. To what extent it is necessary to be able to remotely control the cameras depends on whether it is an event with an audience. If rounds of talks without an audience are to be video-recorded, the motor pan-tilt may not be necessary. This reduces the technical effort.

Video editing, video cutting, audio editing

The video recording of events, concerts, interviews, etc. is of course only half the battle. After the video recording, the video editing inevitably follows. The audio tracks or soundtracks must be viewed and adjusted when the video material is edited. The integration of additional text and image material as well as the integration of logos and blurbs also takes place during the video editing. We also cut videos from their or material from other sources. If the soundtracks of a concert recording are to be remixed and mastered, you can supply them accordingly.

Small batch manufacture of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs

Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia offers small batch manufacturing of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs. In terms of archiving, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs offer a number of advantages. Memory cards, hard drives and USB sticks are not designed to last forever. The advantage of Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs is that they do not contain any electronic components. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs for music and video are therefore the first choice as a souvenir, as a gift or for sale.
