Bastian Harper - music video: Love to...


This work was produced many, many winters ago. This is a music video for the song Love to dance by artist Bastian Harper (then The Submission). A basic idea was dancing in a disco and was realized with the dancers from The steps. At that time there was no 4K/UHD.

Small financial means, but big goals?

Usually one cannot be reconciled with the other. Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia is the exception and the only video production company to refute this rule. We use modern cameras with large, latest-generation 1-inch image sensors of the same type. Optimal image quality is achieved even in unfavorable lighting conditions. The cameras can be operated remotely by using programmable motor pan-tilts, which reduces personnel expenditure and costs.

Parallel video recording with multiple cameras (multi-camera video production)

Multi-camera video production is a main focus of Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia. For such productions we use cameras of the same type. Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. The video material is cut on high-performance computers. Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p as well.
Video recording of concerts, theater performances and readings ...

When it comes to video recording theater performances, concerts, readings, etc., we naturally use the multi-camera method. The multi-camera recording makes it possible to capture the many areas of the event from different perspectives in the picture. Remote-controlled cameras are used. The very varied alignment of the cameras takes place from a central point. In this way, 5 or more cameras can be operated by a single person. This saves personnel costs for you.
Video reports for TV, streaming and internet

In this area, too, we can draw on a wealth of experience based on many years of activity. Hundreds of video reports and TV reports have been produced and broadcast over the years. The topics were as varied as the places reported on. These included current news and information, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball, social events and much more. Due to our many experiences, we are able to work for you in almost all topics to produce TV reports and video reports.
Video recording of interviews, round tables, discussion events, etc.

Depending on the order, we also use several cameras for the video production of interviews, discussion events, round tables, etc. If the questioner is not to be shown in the picture in interviews with only one person, two cameras are sometimes completely sufficient. If an interview or conversation with several people is to be recorded on video, the use of more than 2 cameras is essential. Remotely controllable cameras would be used if it is an event with an audience. The time required can be reduced if the video recordings are conversations and interviews without an audience.
Editing of video and audio material

Of course, just recording concerts, events, interviews and discussions etc. is not enough. After video recording, video editing is the logical next step in video production. The soundtracks or audio tracks have to be adjusted and mixed while the video material is being edited. During editing, the video is completed with logos, blurbs and, if necessary, other video, image and text material. Video material from your own or other sources can be easily integrated. It is also possible to edit, mix and master the audio tracks of concert recordings.
CD, DVD, Blu-ray Disc - Small Series Manufacturing

Our range of services also includes the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in small series. In contrast to other storage media, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs have unbeatable advantages. Hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards don't last forever. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not contain any electronic components that could become a weak point and cause data loss. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are ideal for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos.
