Bastian Harper - music video: Love to...


This work was produced many, many winters ago. This is a music video for the song Love to dance by artist Bastian Harper (then The Submission). Dancing was the basic idea. The implementation took place with a lot of spontaneity and flexibility in a few hours in a discotheque with the dancers from The Steps. Unfortunately, video shooting and video production did not take place in 4K/UHD at that time.

A high demand but only a small budget?

Usually you have to make a choice as these options are mutually exclusive. Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia is the exception to the rule. We use modern cameras with large, latest-generation 1-inch image sensors of the same type. Optimum image quality is guaranteed even in difficult lighting conditions. The programmable motorized pan-tilts enable the cameras to be controlled remotely, thereby reducing the need for personnel, which lowers costs.

Video recording with multiple cameras (multi-camera video production)

Multi-camera video production is a main focus of Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia. We rely on high-quality cameras of the same type. Cameras of the same type ensure identical image quality for every image or camera setting. The video editing is done using professional software on high-performance computers. As one of the few video producers, Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia can produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.
Video recording of concerts, theater performances and readings ...

The video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. If the many areas of the stage performance are to be recorded on video from different perspectives, we use the multi-camera method to do this. Remote controlled cameras are used. The cameras are controlled from a central point with regard to zoom, sharpness and alignment. In this way, 5 or more cameras can be operated by a single person. This saves personnel costs for you.
Video reports for television and the Internet

Through many years of activity, we also have a wealth of experience in this area. Hundreds of video reports and TV contributions have been made over the years. This activity led to a wide variety of places for a wide variety of topics. These included current news and information, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball, social events and much more. We are able to research for you in all conceivable areas and to produce video contributions and TV reports.
Video production of interviews, round tables, discussion events, etc.

The use of several cameras is also useful for the video production of rounds of talks, interviews, discussion events, etc. If the questioner should not be visible in interviews with only one person, two cameras would be sufficient. When it comes to interview or conversation situations in which several people take part, we naturally rely on the proven multi-camera method. Depending on whether it is an event with an audience, remote-controlled cameras can also be used here. If rounds of talks without an audience are to be video-recorded, the motor pan-tilt may not be necessary. This reduces the technical effort.
Editing of video and audio material

The video recording of events, concerts, interviews, etc. is understandably only one side of the coin. The next step after video recording is video cutting or video editing. The audio tracks or soundtracks must be viewed and adjusted when the video material is edited. The integration of additional text and image material as well as the integration of logos and blurbs also takes place during the video editing. You can also submit existing image, text, video and audio material. If, for example, the audio tracks of a concert recording are to be mastered, we can do this or you can supply it as a file.
Manufacture of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs in small quantities

Our range of services also includes the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in small series. CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs offer particular advantages over other storage media, and not just for archiving. Hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards don't last forever. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs lack electronic components. Thus, these potential weak points and causes for data loss are missing. Blu-ray Discs, DVDs, and CDs are great for selling, gifting, and archiving music, videos, or files.
