Bastian Harper - music video: Love to...


This work was produced many, many winters ago. This is a music video for the song Love to dance by artist Bastian Harper (then The Submission). There was one basic idea: dancing. This was filmed and implemented flexibly with a lot of spontaneity in a nightclub. At that time 4K/UHD was not yet available.

High goals, but only a small budget - a big challenge?

Usually it is not possible to have both. However, Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia is the exception to the rule. The cameras we use are modern, latest-generation models of the same type, with large 1-inch image sensors. In difficult lighting conditions, first-class image quality is ensured. The cameras can be controlled remotely through the use of programmable motorized pan-tilts, reducing manpower and enabling cost savings.

Synchronous recording with multiple cameras (multi-camera video production)

A main field of activity of Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia is multi-camera video recording and video production. We rely on high-quality cameras of the same type. This ensures identical picture quality even with 4K/UHD. The video editing is done using professional software on high-performance computers. As one of the few video producers, Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia can produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.
Video production of theater performances, concerts, readings and more

The video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. Using the multi-camera method, we realize the video recording of the stage performance from many different perspectives. Remote controlled cameras are used. The cameras are controlled in a variety of ways from just one central point. It only takes one person to control all the cameras. Additional cameramen are not required.
TV and video reports for radio and internet streaming

In this area, too, we can draw on a wealth of experience based on many years of activity. Hundreds of video reports and TV reports have been produced and broadcast over the years. The topics were as varied as the places reported on. The topics ranged from current news and information to cultural and sporting events, social events and much more. We are able to research for you in all conceivable areas and to produce video contributions and TV reports.
Video recording of interviews, round tables, discussion events, etc.

Depending on what the client wants and how the situation is on site, several cameras are also used for interviews, rounds of talks, discussion events, etc. If the questioner is not to be shown in the picture in interviews with only one person, two cameras are sometimes completely sufficient. Of course, we rely on the multi-camera method insofar as it is an interview and conversation situation with several people. Depending on whether it is an event with an audience, remote-controlled cameras can also be used here. If interviews, conversations or discussion rounds are recorded without an audience, there is no need for a motor pan tilt.
Editing and editing of video and audio material

Of course, recording events, concerts, theater performances, talks, etc. on video is only half the battle. After the video recording, the video editing inevitably follows. During the video editing, the soundtracks and audio tracks are viewed, adjusted and mixed at the same time. Additional text, image and video material as well as blurbs are also designed and integrated during the video editing. We also cut videos from their or material from other sources. If the soundtracks of a concert recording are to be remixed and mastered, you can supply them accordingly.
Small series of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs

Do you need CDs, DVDs or Blu-ray discs in small quantities? Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia is your partner. CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs offer particular advantages over other storage media, and not just for archiving. The security of the data on USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives is not guaranteed for eternity. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not contain any electronic components that could become a weak point and cause data loss. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are ideal for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos.
