Music video: Bastian Harper - Love to...


This work was produced many, many winters ago. This is a music video for the song Love to dance by artist Bastian Harper (then The Submission). Dancing was the basic idea. The implementation took place with a lot of spontaneity and flexibility in a few hours in a discotheque with the dancers from The Steps. At that time 4K/UHD was not yet available.

Big ambitions despite a small budget?

That usually doesn't go together. Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia is the exception to the rule. We use cameras with the latest generation of large 1-inch image sensors of the same type. Optimum image quality is ensured even in unfavorable lighting conditions. The use of programmable motor pan-tilts means that the cameras can be operated remotely, which reduces the number of personnel required and thus lowers costs.

Multi-camera video production is a main focus of Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia. For such productions we use cameras of the same type. Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. The video material is cut on high-performance computers. Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p as well.
Video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings ...

The video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. Using the multi-camera method, we realize the video recording of the stage performance from many different perspectives. We use cameras that are remote controlled. The cameras are controlled from a central point with regard to zoom, sharpness and alignment. 5 and more cameras can be operated by a single person. Additional cameramen are not necessary.
Video reports for television and the Internet

Through many years of activity, we also have a wealth of experience in this area. Hundreds of video reports and TV contributions have been made over the years. This activity led to a wide variety of places for a wide variety of topics. These included current information and news, social events, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball and much more. Due to our extensive experience, we can produce TV reports and video reports for you on almost any topic.

Depending on the order, we also use several cameras for the video production of interviews, discussion events, round tables, etc. Two cameras are sometimes sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture in interviews with only one person. When it comes to interview or conversation situations in which several people take part, we naturally rely on the proven multi-camera method. Remotely controllable cameras would be used if it is an event with an audience. The technical effort is reduced if the video recording is of discussions without an audience.
Video editing, video cutting, audio editing

Of course, just recording concerts, events, interviews and discussions etc. is not enough. After video recording, video editing is the logical next step in video production. An important part of editing video material is adjusting and mixing the soundtracks or audio tracks. The integration of additional text and image material as well as the integration of logos and blurbs also takes place during the video editing. We also cut videos from their or material from other sources. If the soundtracks of a concert recording are to be remixed and mastered, you can supply them accordingly.
Small series of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs

Our range of services also includes the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in small series. When it comes to archiving audio, video and data, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs offer clear advantages. Memory cards, hard drives and USB sticks are not designed to last forever. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs lack electronic components. Thus, these potential weak points and causes for data loss are missing. Blu-ray Discs, DVDs, and CDs are great for selling, gifting, and archiving music, videos, or files.
