Love to dance - music video by the artist Bastian...

This work was produced many, many summers ago. A music video by artist Bastian Harper (The Submission) titled Love to dance. Dancing was the basic idea. The implementation took place with a lot of spontaneity and flexibility in a few hours in a discotheque with the dancers from The Steps. Unfortunately, video shooting and video production did not take place in 4K/UHD at that time.

Small financial means, but big goals?

Usually you have to prioritize because these options are mutually exclusive. Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia is the exception to the rule. A main field of activity of Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia is multi-camera video recording and video production. For such productions we use cameras of the same type. Cameras of the same type ensure identical image quality for every image or camera setting. The video material is edited on high-performance computers using professional software. As one of the few video producers, Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia can produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

Video production of theater performances, concerts, readings and more

The video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. The multi-camera video recording makes it possible to record the different areas of the performance from different perspectives. We rely on modern cameras that are remote-controlled. The cameras are controlled from a central point with regard to zoom, sharpness and alignment. This reduces manpower and costs because a single person can control multiple cameras.

TV and video reports for radio, streaming and the internet

Through working as a video journalist for many years, I was able to gain relevant experience in this area. Hundreds of TV contributions and reports were produced and broadcast. The topics were as varied as the places reported on. These included breaking news and information, cultural and sporting events, competitions, social events and much more. Our wealth of experience makes it possible for you to research all conceivable subject areas in order to produce TV reports and video reports.

Video recording of interviews, round tables, discussion events, etc.

Depending on what the client wants and how the situation is on site, several cameras are also used for interviews, rounds of talks, discussion events, etc. If the questioner is not to be shown in the picture in interviews with only one person, two cameras are sometimes completely sufficient. When it comes to interview or conversation situations in which several people take part, we naturally rely on the proven multi-camera method. To what extent it is necessary to be able to remotely control the cameras depends on whether it is an event with an audience. If rounds of talks without an audience are to be video-recorded, the motor pan-tilt may not be necessary. This reduces the technical effort.

Editing of video and audio material

The video recording of events, concerts, interviews, etc. is of course only half the battle. After video recording, video editing is the logical next step in video production. During the video editing, the soundtracks and audio tracks are viewed, adjusted and mixed at the same time. A complete video production includes the creation and integration of logos, blurbs and, if necessary, additional image, text and video material. We also cut videos from their or material from other sources. If the soundtracks of a concert recording are to be remixed and mastered, you can supply them accordingly.

In contrast to other storage media, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs have unbeatable advantages. The shelf life of USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives is limited. Electronic components are the common cause of data loss from hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not have these. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are the best choice for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos as a keepsake.
