The Naumburg Theater performed the play Nora or a Doll's House. Five cameras were used for video recording. These were fully remote controlled. The Theater NAumburg is one of the small theaters in Germany. The implementation was carried out by: Maribel Dente, Markus Sulzbacher, Pia Koch, Adrien Papritz, Marius Marx, Stefan Neugebauer (director, casting, adaptation), Michael Thurm (cameras, editing, video production), Pia Merkel (assistant director), Rainer Holzapfel (design , costumes), David Gross (technical direction).

Small budget vs. high demands?

Most of the time these things are mutually exclusive. However, Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia is the exception to the rule. We use cameras of the same type of the latest generation with large 1-inch image sensors. Excellent image quality is achieved in difficult lighting conditions. Cameras can be controlled remotely by using programmable motor pan-tilts, which reduces manpower and saves costs.

Cameras of the same type ensure identical image quality for every image or camera setting. The video editing takes place on high-performance computers. Dessau Videoproduktion und Multimedia offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p as well.

The video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. Only through multi-camera video production is it possible to record many areas of the event simultaneously in image and sound. Remote controlled cameras are used. The cameras are controlled from a central point with regard to zoom, sharpness and alignment. In this way, 5 or more cameras can be controlled by just one person. An entire event can be fully recorded by just one person.

A wealth of experience has grown from many years as a video journalist. This resulted in several hundred TV reports and video reports. The topics were as varied as the places reported on. The audio tracks or soundtracks must be viewed and adjusted when the video material is edited. During editing, the video is completed with logos, blurbs and, if necessary, other video, image and text material. We also cut videos from their or material from other sources. If the soundtracks of a concert recording are to be remixed and mastered, you can supply them accordingly.

Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs lack electronic components. Thus, these potential weak points and causes for data loss are missing.
